Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LaWI platform (lawi.in), operated by Winrose Lifestyle, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users — seekers, advisors, and visitors.

2. Platform Description

LaWI is a marketplace platform that connects individuals and businesses ("Seekers") with independent advisory professionals ("Advisors") across life and business domains. LaWI facilitates the connection but is not itself a party to the advisory relationship. Advisors are independent professionals, not employees of Winrose Lifestyle.

3. Seeker Obligations

• Provide accurate registration information including name, email, phone, and location
• Attend booked sessions on time or cancel with at least 24 hours' notice
• Use advisory sessions for lawful purposes only
• Not record sessions without the advisor's explicit written consent
• Treat advisors with respect and professionalism
• Pay for sessions as agreed at the time of booking

4. Advisor Obligations

• Provide accurate professional credentials and experience during onboarding
• Deliver sessions as booked, on time, and to a professional standard
• Maintain confidentiality of all seeker information and session content
• Not solicit seekers to transact outside the LaWI platform
• Comply with all applicable professional standards and Indian law
• Grant LaWI the content rights described in Section 8 below

5. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are subject to advisor availability. Payment is required to confirm a booking. LaWI uses Razorpay as its payment gateway. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions in addition to these terms.

LaWI collects platform fees from advisor earnings. The applicable fee structure is communicated to advisors during onboarding and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

6. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation 24+ hours before session: Full refund to original payment method within 5–7 business days
• Cancellation within 24 hours: 50% refund; 50% retained as cancellation fee
• No-show (seeker): No refund
• Advisor cancellation: Full refund to seeker; LaWI will offer an alternative advisor or reschedule

7. Disclaimer of Liability

Advisory sessions on LaWI are for informational and guidance purposes only. They do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or psychological therapy. LaWI does not guarantee any specific outcomes from advisory sessions. Seekers act on advisory guidance at their own discretion and risk. LaWI's maximum liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for the specific session in question.

8. Intellectual Property & Content Rights

All media, video clips, frameworks, articles, blog posts, and profile content published by advisors within the LaWI platform are hosted under the distribution and platform rights of LaWI (Winrose Lifestyle). Advisors retain authorship credit but grant LaWI a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, promote, and archive such content within and for the LaWI ecosystem. This licence survives termination of the advisor's account for content already published.

9. Account Termination

LaWI reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or brings the platform into disrepute. Advisors may be deactivated pending review if complaints are received. Seekers may close their account at any time by contacting [email protected].

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. LaWI will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably before any legal proceedings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users with at least 14 days' notice.
